Gareth
Manual Driving Instructor

Hi I'm Gareth, though a South Londoner by birth, Manchester has been my happy home for over 17 years. Prior to moving to Manchester, I spent 27 years driving an iconic Black Cab around the busy streets of London. As you can imagine there isn't much I haven't seen when it comes to driving and peoples behaviour. I started idrivemanchester over 8 years ago. My aim is to help you achieve an essential life skill. I like to teach in a friendly manner, keeping lessons fun whilst progressing at a pace that works for you. Whether it be a nervous beginner or a confidence building refresher lesson, I am perfect at calming even the most anxious of pupils. Having recently achieved Grade A status in my last DVSA check test, allow me to pass on my knowledge and experience to you. In my spare time I am a devoted Palace fan and enjoy watching most sports, eating out and socially drinking.

Lesly
Manual Driving Instructor

Hi I’m Lesley! I have over 10 years teaching experience under my belt, working as a secondary school teacher and more recently a driving instructor. So when it comes to planning, delivering and assessing....I’m your girl!
I believe one of my biggest strengths is identifying students needs and adapting lessons to suit, to meet and exceed agreed targets and ensure progression towards your driving test.
When I’m not teaching I love to get away, walks, keeping fit (and treating myself to the odd glass of wine! )
But above all else spending time with my lovely family and friends.

Karen
Manual Driving Instructor

Hi, I’m Karen, the newbie at idrivemanchester, but certainly not the newbie to driving tuition. I trained with, and worked for Apollo driving school for 12 years and have accomplished a grade A qualification from the DVSA, and a member of SMADI. I’ve lived in Sale all my life so I know the the area extremely well. I previously worked in media, for BBC and Virgin Radio but driving tuition is my vocation. Pupils would describe me as calm, patient, and thorough. I feel it’s important to quickly put nervous pupils at ease and for all pupils to have a fun and exciting experience. I love my job and consider driving to be a life skill, sharing the same ethos as the DVSA - ‘safe driving for life’. So whether it be a first lesson, a refresher lesson or a confidence building motorway lesson you’re in safe hands with me !
