Gareth from I drive was a godsend for my daughter. As soon as she sat in the car with Gareth she was made to feel comfortable and relaxed. He encouraged her, built her confidence all at a pace that suited her. She had a great teacher, enjoyed learning to drive and he made the experience stress free. Gareth was my instructor and I was nervous to get in the roads or even in a car due to being hit by a car however he made me feel at ease and safe every time I got in, highly recommend as he is a brilliant instructor/teacher with a brilliant team.

After a couple of failed driving test I was ready to give up, but Keith was so lovely and really helped my confidence that I passed with him after only a couple of lessons, definitely recommend!

Before I had met Gareth I had had two driving instructors and had failed my test 4 times. I contacted him via email telling him that I had completely lost my confidence and found driving and learning to drive a nerve-wracking and daunting experience. He replied within days saying that he would love to help me. A few months later I passed my test with only 3 minors and bundles of new found confidence. Gareth is an excellent teacher, he explains thing so well that they are easy to understand and remember. As well as that he is just the NICEST, most down to earth guy you will ever have the pleasure of meeting. He made me love driving again, he has given me confidence and the freedom I’ve always wanted. For that, I will always be grateful. If you are a new driver or looking to pick lessons back up again. Do not go with anyone else. Before I met Gareth I was driving way too fast, rushing through everything getting myself all stressed out. As for my driving now, I’ll ALWAYS be asking myself whether I need 1st or 2nd gear, ill be looking out for those bus stops and planning ahead. But above all i will ALWAYS – just chill.

Honestly couldn’t recommend idrive Manchester (Gareth) more. Started lessons at 17 with a different company and tried various people and now at 23 and 6 months pregnant I finally managed to pass with Gareth. Honestly 10/10 the only downside to passing is I won’t get to enjoy my weekly lessons anymore!

I wanted to learn to drive as quickly as possible, which I did in under two months. Gareth was great for fitting around work and childcare. He even let me have some very early weekend lessons!

I was not driving for 10 years and after some bad experience I had confidence issues and got very nervous about driving.

I found Gareth, took 10 hours driving lessons and now I’m back on the road.

I highly recommend Gareth if you want to learn or improve your driving and have fun at the same time. He is a great instructor, very easygoing, funny, laid back person who will never make you feel bad or shout at you if you make a mistake.

After losing any confidence I had after leaving my first instructor, I found I-Drive Manchester. Gareth was positive, encouraging, dedicated and professional with a great sense of humour (lol a Crystal Palace fan!). I went from dreading my lessons to looking forward to them, even at 9am! He would go over things again and again until I stopped having my Wendy moments, in a very upbeat and supportive manner. I will totally miss Poppy his dog watching my attempts at parallel parking and our footy chats!

I passed last week and my sister who also learnt with Gareth (he totally accommodated keeping our lessons twice a week one after the other) passed in November, both absolutely thrilled and can’t wait to get our first car! I even look forward to conquering Hope Road! Lol

When I came to Gareth, I had previously had two instructors, one of which had totally shattered my confidence. I’d been having lessons on and off for 5 years and I was getting sick of constantly feeling frustrated, nervous and close to tears during driving lessons. However, within a matter of months of taking lessons with Gareth I’d passed my practical test.

I could not recommend Gareth enough, he restored the confidence I had lost within the first lesson with him. He makes driving lessons fun by putting you at ease, making you laugh and explaining concepts in an understandable manner. I had gone from dreading driving lessons to them being the highlight of my week. He has a natural ability to teach and makes you feel like you’re his top priority.

To be honest, I’m a little gutted I’ve passed as I’m going to miss having my weekly driving lessons!

Could not have asked for a better instructor! I contacted Gareth in May and told him I needed to be passed by September. Today, I passed first time! Gareth is easy to talk to and have a laugh with which makes it so easy to learn from him. Everything I thought I’d find hard I found easy in the end. I can’t thank you enough Gareth!

Top driving instructor! Had to manage my lessons around coming back from university and Gareth always managed to fit me in. He’s very patient and professional but most importantly friendly so you do feel very comfortable when driving which makes the whole process so much easier.. Almost feel sad my lessons are over now lol, if you haven’t learnt to drive then get onto him ASAP!
